Todd J. BernhardTodd J. Bernhard
Chief Executive Officer


Todd Bernhard is the Chief Executive Officer of Delta Trust Company of South Dakota, Inc. For over 39 years, Mr. Bernhard has worked in the trust and bank management industry. His first 22 years were with The First National Bank in Sioux Falls, Sioux Falls, SD. He worked for 20 years in the Trust Division of the Bank, administering a wide variety of trust accounts. During his final two years with the Bank, he joined the senior management team of the Bank and served as its Chief Financial Officer. In 2001, Mr. Bernhard joined Delta Trust Company of South Dakota, Inc. and became its Chief Executive Officer. In addition to his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of South Dakota in 1979, he is a 1984 graduate of the American Bankers Association, National Graduate Trust School. He is a Certified Financial Services Counselor and is also a Certified Corporate Trust Specialist. He has served as President of the Sioux Falls, South Dakota Estate Planning Council. He has also served on the South Dakota Governor’s Task Force on Trust Administration, Review and Reform. Currently, Mr. Bernhard serves as a board member and in Board Management positions for numerous additional public trust companies organized and domiciled in South Dakota.

Mr. Bernhard has also been very active in South Dakota state and local issues throughout his professional career having served as board member numerous corporate and not-for-profit organizations.

Mr. Bernhard currently serves as Ward III Alderman for the City of Fort Pierre, South Dakota; as Secretary of the Board for the South Dakota State Board of Water and Natural Resources and as a state board member for Junior Achievement of South Dakota, Inc.


Linda M. VollerLinda M. Voller
Vice President and Trust Officer


Linda Voller joined Delta Trust Company of South Dakota, Inc. at its inception in 1992, and has gained significant trust administration experience, as well as very valuable insight into South Dakota banking and trust company requirements. She administers trusts with full discretionary authority and works with the families and investment managers to adhere to the requirements of trust documents, while also meeting the needs of the beneficiaries. She also serves in an officer position for numerous additional public trust companies organized and domiciled in South Dakota.

Ms. Voller’s prior experience includes an accounting position with The South Dakota Bankers Association and also extensive experience in the insurance industry. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from Bismarck State College, Bismarck, ND. Ms. Voller is a graduate of Cannon Financial Institute’s Trust School and holds the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA™) designation.

Ms. Voller is a past officer and member of the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity, receiving the Volunteer of the Year award for her efforts in aiding to provide affordable housing for the Pierre/Ft. Pierre community. She is a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) which gives a voice to minor children during custody proceedings and has been involved with the mentoring program at the local middle school. Ms. Voller is very active in church activities and is involved with several ministries.


Danielle R. KeetonDanielle R. Keeton
Trust Officer


As a Trust Officer/Trust Administrator, Ms. Keeton administers trusts with full discretionary authority. Her trust administration experience also includes significant experience administering foreign trusts. She is responsible for the administration, daily operations, accounting functions and record keeping of the trust accounts. In addition, she leads the servicing function for trust companies domiciled in South Dakota for which Delta Trust Company of South Dakota, Inc. provides services. In addition to her seven years of trust administration experience, she has had extensive experience as an accounting analyst. Ms. Keeton holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Finance and Management from Dakota State University; Madison, South Dakota. She is currently attending Cannon Financial Institute's Trust School. She is active in her community serving on the local boards of Junior Achievement (also as an instructor), PEO Chapter CS and her Church.


Doug MikkonenDoug Mikkonen
Trust Officer


Mr. Mikkonen has worked in the trust industry for many years as a Trust Officer, administering a wide variety of trust accounts for high net worth clients. He has also been employed by the South Dakota Division of Banking as a lead Financial Institution Examiner, focusing on South Dakota Trust Companies and Bank Trust Departments. Prior to being in the trust industry, Mr. Mikkonen spent 14 years in the investment securities management business, managing investment portfolios and authoring communications to clients.

Mr. Mikkonen received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management, Minneapolis, MN. He holds the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation from the American Bankers Association Institute of Certified Bankers and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute.


Kimberlee KaiserKimberlee Kaiser
Trust Administrative Assistant


Ms. Kaiser performs trust accounting functions for Delta Trust Company of South Dakota, Inc. She has had significant experience in accounting, as an auditor, a payroll specialist and as a benefits coordinator. Ms. Kaiser holds a Bachelor Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Business Administration, graduating cum laude from Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD.
